Visitor to Negril is now able to laugh and get wet in the attreactions of Kool Runnings Water Park. Its has been open since Febuary 2007. Thrilling attraction include a 40 foot high 'Main Tower' with four water slides, a 30 foot high 'Auxiliary Tower' that connects three slides with an interactive children's area and a large tipping bucket. Last but not least. visitor can enjoy the 'Lazy River'.
Additional attraction include a grand prix go-kart race track, a carousel, a rock climbing wall, a bungee trampoline and a sand valleyball court. An aqua theraphy spa is also in the planning. Plentiful food and beverage outlets include a cricket themed sport-bar, a traditional fast food restaurant, an authentic Jamaican grill, and coffee, ice-cream and pastry shop. But Kool Runnings is not all play. One of the park's missions is to bring attention to Jamaica's endangered species. |
